Crossroad Bible Fellowship Nishinomiya is a new international church located near Hankyu Nishinomiya Kitaguchi station. As our name Crossroad implies, we hope to be a place of decision for Japanese people who want to know more about God as well as teaching them about who Jesus is and what He did. We have specifically targeted the Nishinomiya area, because it lies at the heart of the transportation systems connecting millions of people who live in the Osaka and Kobe areas. We believe that God wants us to have an impact on our community.

Over twelve years ago, Mark Benton started a church named Crossroad Chapel in this same area and was able to share the gospel. Following the Great Hanshin earthquake, that church decided to merge with Kobe Bible Fellowship that was started by Rob Flaherty in the Sannomiya area. Rob and Mark worked together for many years until the fall of 2004, when KBF sent a team of 15 people to Nishinomiya to resurrect the dream of Crossroad.

The pastor of Crossroad is Fumikazu "Fumi" Chito, a vibrant young man born and raised in Osaka. Fumi has been a pastor at KBF for a number of years, and worked closely with Mark and Rob. Now, Fumi and Mark along with their families and the team from KBF have come back to Nishinomiya with the purpose of reaching many Japanese people with the gospel of Jesus Christ. Our 5 driving forces are focused on the importance of cross-generational ministry, cross-generational relationships, marriage and family, authentic worship, and evangelism. The worship services are bi-lingual and people from all nations are welcome to join. If you are in the area, please come and join us!
